It’s almost planting time!

Save the Date: Summer gardening course
starts April 18

If you want to become a more skilled gardener — or even if you’ve never grown vegetables before – NFI’s summer food-growing course provides everything you need to build your skills for sustainable gardening success! Ten sessions taught Saturday mornings at our urban garden. See our website for details!

“Happy Hour” gardening begins soon!

What could be happier than leaving the office behind and heading outside to meet some great folks — and pitching in to create something beautiful?  We have some exciting changes planned for our urban crop demonstration garden, and with help from enthusiastic volunteer growers can help make it happen!

Our Wednesday Happy and Healthy Hour volunteer sessions will resume soon! We’ll announce the first date via email and Facebook and on our website.  Stay tuned!
