Want to get down and dirty (in a garden), planting, weeding, and harvesting? Curious to learn about growing your own food? Interested in connecting with like-minded enthusiasts? Are you answering yes to all those questions? Then join NFI for its 4th annual open day on June 14th. You’ll hear about our garden education programs, learn about our volunteer days, and taste farm-fresh food.

Volunteer with us in the morning and get your hands dirty

Dangerously Delicious Pies will whip up delicious offerings of NFI’s produce and we will be washing it all down with Honest Tea! All are welcome!

  • 9:00 – 11:00 - Volunteer in our Demonstration Garden. Make sure you bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty; we’ll supply the tools and gloves.
  • 11:00 – 1:00 - Garden Education Workshops
  • 1:00 – Pies, potluck, salads, and teas!
